- Conduct Research: Perform both fundamental and applied research on metal extraction and purification processes to develop advanced methods for use in energy storage systems.- Develop Techniques: Innovate and optimize extraction and purification techniques to enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of product.- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other researchers, engineers, and scientists within the laboratory and the Center of Energy and Science of New Materials to achieve research objectives.- Experimentation and Analysis: Design, execute, and analyze experiments related to metal extraction and purification, ensuring rigorous scientific methodology and accurate data interpretation.- Publish Findings: Document research findings and publish results in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field.- Supervise Students: Mentor and guide graduate and undergraduate students involved in related research projects, providing technical support and fostering a collaborative learning environment.- Safety Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.- Proposal Writing: Assist in writing grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing and future research projects.  The initial term is 1 year of full-time or part-time employment with the possibility of extension based on mutual interest. Most of your working time is devoted to project tasks.
